The first half of the week will be cloudy and wet in Latvia; however the latter half is expected to be sunnier, reports LSM's weatherman Toms Bricis.

On Tuesday night a warm weather system is to cross Latvia, bringing quite a lot of rain to Latvia's west, and to Latvia's central and eastern regions during the day. Wet snow might fall over Latvia's east.

There's chance of rain on Wednesday still, when it will also be windy with gusts of 15 to 18 m/s in the coastal regions; however the latter half of the week should be dry.

Nighttime temperatures will be 0..+5C during until Wednesday and +5..+10C during the day. While in the latter half of the week the skies are forecast to clear, making it a colder -4..+2C at night.

Current forecasts say daytime temperatures are expected to rise to +10C except for the coastal regions which could be colder.
