The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch a new route between Riga and the Ukrainian coastal city Odessa on March 26, 2017, the company told the press Tuesday.

The new route will offer a new summer holiday destination for travellers from the Baltics, as Odessa is located at the Black Sea coast.

There'll be up to four weekly flights to Odessa, with prices starting at €89.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. It already serves a connection between Rīga and Kiev.

Its primary shareholder is the Latvian state, which holds 80.05% of the stock, while Ralf-Dieter Montag-Girmes holds around 20%.
