The members of the Commission voted unanimously by 8 votes to 0 to uphold the results as they stand.
As previously announced, the distribution of the 100 seats in Saeima are: Harmony 24 seats; Unity 23; Greens and Farmers Union 21; National Alliance 17; Regional Alliance 8; Latvia From The Heart 7.
No other parties passed the 5% barrier necessary to win parliamentary representation.
CVK Chairman Arnis Cimdars said that the result could be confirmed even with an investigation ongoing into allegations of vote-buying in the Latgale electoral district.
"At the moment no charges have been brought, so there is no grounds for action from the CVK. If that situation changes and someone is found guilty of an offense, the CVK would take appropriate action," Cimdars told journalists after the announcement of the votes.
Turnout was confirmed at 58.85% - the lowest rate for any Latvian national election but still relatively high compared to many other western countries.
